How to Repurpose One Video Into a Month of Content

    By Danish Shahzad

Making content from scratch every week is exhausting and expensive. The brands that post consistently aren't filming constantly — they're repurposing. Here's how to turn one video into weeks of content.

    Start with one pillar piece

Record one substantial video — an interview, a talk, a long-form tutorial, or a single focused shoot. This is your source material. Everything else gets carved out of it, so it pays to make this one count.

    Cut it into many pieces

    • Pull 5–10 short clips, each around one idea, for Reels, TikTok and Shorts.
    • Turn key quotes into text posts or captioned graphics.
    • Use the audio for a podcast clip or an audiogram.
    • Combine the best moments into a highlight or trailer.

    Why this works so well

Different people see different cuts, and repeating your core message across formats makes it stick. You show up everywhere, consistently, from a fraction of the effort. Consistency is what the algorithms and your audience both reward.
